Build on OpenBSD 6.0-beta (GENERIC) #276: Sat Jul 9 12:44:52 AEST 2016 Ports tree 2016-07-16 Build cluster - two Beaglebone Black Rev. A6 (2GB eMMC, 512MB RAM, 1-8GB SD-card) - two USB-to-UART (only for debug) - 5-port switch - WLAN access point - USB hub (only for power distribution) - 5V, 2.5A power brick Notes As of right now building packages is done manually on very limted hardware. Packages are hand picked, the hardware is carefully massaged to stay working. One Beagle already lost the capability to boot from eMMC. One sd-card reports i/o errors above 4GB, so 50% less space. Internet connectivity is only on, when my main workstation is running. And uplading to this website is also done by hand. Sooo Yeahhh... fun times. Update 2016-08-05 Now building with a kernel that includes the pmap uvm_fault patch. Update 2016-08-06 Upgrading to two 64GB SD-cards. Way less handholding required. Update 2016-08-07 Now building with a kernel that includes the page table in cacheable memory patch. Update 2016-08-08 New kernel with "remove most of the cache cleaning and invalidation from the pmap" and "non-cachable memory as cachable and subsequently changing the mapping to non-cachable is retarded" patches. All those pmap patches reduce the kernel build time by about 50%. Update 2016-09-04 Switched to dpb build, but still building independently on both Beagles. 5090 Packages build so far. Update 2016-09-11 5800 Packages build. Update 2016-09-28 6440 Packages build. Update 2016-10-15 6800 Packages build. Update 2016-10-25 Stoping this experiment. Final pkg count 6863.
